hi Heck,
Peter & Charlotte had 6 children
Henry Garrick (or possibly William Henry Garrick, full research would have to be done to verify this family) was born first, in 1854, and is recorded on BDM although exact day & month not listed. He died 11 August 1880 aged 26.
The 6th child (in their records) was a son that they named John Garrick. He was born 31 Aug/1 Sep 1870 and lived for 15 minutes. In the BDM records he and Charlotte died on the same day
These 2 children are buried with their parents in Plot 59 N, at Bolton Street

Now, I known the service date for Charlotte, at Bolton Street records, have her as having been buried on 24 June 1870. However, I am working on ALL the Bolton street burials at the moment. As you probably known, about 3,700 burials were exhumed between 1968-1971 to make way for the Wellington Motorway. Most of these remains now lie in a large vault beneath the Early Settlers Memorial Lawn situated behind the replica Chapel, while a small number were reinterred at Karori or Makara Cemeteries at the request of relatives.
Because of that massive undertaking some records are not accurate but all are being worked on in an on-going endeavour to have bios on all those buried

ALSO SEE:
* Bolton Street History
* Bolton Street Memorial Park
* Tiptoeing through the tombstones with Nick Perrin
* Robert Hall 'Fred' ODLING who was thought to have been buried in Bolton street with his wife in 1887, until June this year when it was found he actually died in Queensland in 1933! (and I have since found a couple of others). So you can see that this is a very large & extensive undertaking to 'get the records straight'

What I have is:
1854 - 1880 Henry Garrick (died in Wellington aged 26)
1856 - Julia Garrick (her life is interesting)
1861 - Peter Garrick
1866 - 1909? Amelia Matthews Garrick
1869 - Annie Louisa Garrick
1870 - 1870 John Garrick (died aged 15 minutes)

However, these are you ancestors so of course you would know more. What I'm saying is, it would be better to get death certificates for Peter & Charlotte & their 6 children if you want to be certain. Would you like to add a link to your tree?
I will spend some time in researching their origins for you & will post here anything I can find

Evening Post, 2 September 1870
... BIRTH - On the 2nd inst., the wife of Mr P. Garrick, of a daughter
... DEATHS - On the 2nd inst., at her residence, Able Smith-street, Charlotte, wife of Mr. P. Garrick. Aged 34 years. On the 2nd inst., the infant daughter of Mr P. Garrick

so, it was a daughter but born & died same day & also with her mother Charlotte. This means the cemetery burial name of John should perhaps be Jane? (do you know of the name). We can then get the records changed (after providing verification)

Hi there, you are a great help yet again, i never had a name for the first born (William Henry)and would love to find out more of the life of Julia.Amelia married Robert Suddens who passed away at 51 and she followed the following year at a young age 43 or 44.
I have Charlotte passing away in June and the baby in August, i see no other birth notices for the rest of the children and was thinking this could have been an afterthought on Peters part soon after her death 31st Aug but i don't have a recorded name for her sorry.
I would be happy to add a link to my tree for you if you could tell me how to do it.

http://www.myheritage.com/site-121577541/rudman, I hope that is correct.
Unsure if it's what you meant about Julia's life being interesting but i see she didn't see, notice or hear a couple of things others apparently did.

Hi, I'm looking for any information on Peter Garrick. I dont have a lot of information, other than he was born around 1860 in the Wellington region. He spent some time in Taranaki where he met Raima Moho Ao. They had a child Wikitoria. She is my Great Grandmother.What Ive been told is that Raima nd Peter werent permitted to marry and he supposedly then spent some time in Australia.Thats all the information I have sadly, so any clues as to his history would be greatly appreciated.
