I am interested in the marriage of Henry Benjamin, father of 10 children who are known to my family, to Elizabeth Cohen. I hold a copy of the birth certificate of one of these children which shows her moether's maiden name as Lizze Marks. I also have the death certificate for Elizabeth (Lizzie) Benjamin which confirms she married Henry Benjamin around 1873. Henry is shown in the UK 1901 and 1911 censuses, after emigarting to England with several of his children, as born in 1950. I also have his date of death as 1927 according to the probate record. Can you help me understand the connection to Elizabeth Cohen and the differences on birth and death dates. I am having difficulty tracing Henry's ancestors who I believe originated in London.

Thank you very much for the additional information on Elizabeth Marks and the Benjamin links. I am happy to help anyone interested in the family after their journey to England.
