David Madison Wood B1760 New York...looking for origin

Is known both as David Wood and David Madison Wood.

Married Mahalia Johnson. Both husband and wife were buried at Matthew Wood Cem, Augusta/Vernon R, Oneida Co, NY.

Had several children, including William Wood who married Native American named Mahala...they moved to Beloit/Loyd, Wisconsin...raised family there, including John Granville Wood, Sr., who was in Wisconsin Volunteers, Civil War, from Beloit area.

Can't find David's origin, location of birth.

Some say Silas Wood and Jane Capwell were his parents from Coventry, Kent, RI.

Earlier dates of birth for David showed 1759.

Well, things have changed...good. Since writing this, have worked David Wood 1760 back to Edmund Wood 1530...London plus much more. See my Facebook Page: Also have a Total Wood DNA file.
