H Dimer was Henry Dimer on 11-01-1908 aged 1 hour, at Nanambina Station via Isrealite Bay
- his father was Henry Dimer a Grazier
- his mother was Topsie WHITEHAND, an aboriginal lady

J. Dimer was Henry's sister Johanna who was born still on 5 July 1900

Spouse: Henry (Heinrich Diemer was born in Germany)
- he married Topsie Whitehand in Isaelite Bay in 1897

their children were:
Harry, Bertha, Annie, Thomas, Fred, Walter, Sidney, Johanna, Henry, Karl, Barney & 1 other son

Thanks ng,
Yes, a lot of the remote graves are infants. There was a Hetty born after Johanna as well.
I haven't found old Henry and Topsie's burial place though. They went to Kalgoorlie from Esperance, I might try around there.

Kalgoorlie's a headache to search. The Battye Library have his diaries but of course they are not published. He died in 1936 he was probably buried on his property. Or maybe Norseman that's closer.

I found two more on his property,'Nanambinia' Thomas and another baby

Hi janily,

found Topsie buried on Nanambina Station

she died on 30 August 1918 aged 44 at Israeliete Baay

a son, Karl Dimer, wrote "ELSEWHERE FINE"
- Dimer family history. The Nullabor, Nanambinia Station, early pastoral pioneering.

A sound recording of a speech by the author to Esperance Historical Society in 1973 and is held by the Battye Library

Yes I got that. Nanambinia comes under Norseman which is administrated at Dundas. Only 2 graves at Nanambinia could have been more but only two remain visible. I was only looking for the Dimer's for somebody, but the other names may be of interest to somebody else. That's why I published them entirely. You won't find them in their entirety online anywhere else.
I'll post a few of the private cemeteries as well as remote and lonely graves. I've got a convent somewhere with the nun's surnames as well. The thing is I don't have an index by name (some don't have names) just by grave site. So if anyone wants a grave I need an area as well as a surname. No Public cemeteries.

DIMER, Heinrich (Henry). Henry Dimer and friend jumped ship in 1884. They were found on the beach by Campbell Taylor, who took them to Candyup and later to his property near Esperance. Photocopied extract from "Elsewhere fine" by Karl Dimer. South West Publishing Company, 1989.
