Iam looking for any info regarding John Burdekin

married Sophia Jackson in Sept 1866 in Manchester they lived in 17 Harrop st Chorlton upon medlock

They had a daughter called Mary - very sadly she died they then had

George William Burdekin who is my Great Great maternal grandfather.

John Burdekin was born in 1831 / died in 1876.
Ihave no recods for him apart from the 1871 census return any info would be greatly appreciated

Hi jonh,

Our father's mother's brother was George Burdekin.
George & wife Polly? moved from UK to Sydney Australia circa 1909-1915??. They had a daughter Ngaire.
Our father & grandparents relocated to Australia in 1925, from Yorkshire.
Our grandmother was Susannah Burdekin.
My eldest brother & I have been researching our family roots for over40 years, & would be most grateful for any information on our paternal grandmother's family heritage.
