Are you part of the Binder family of Delhi Twp., Cincinnati, Ohio

Journal by hartmame

I've been working on this family for years and have an extensive family tree but like any tree some branches seem to be missing.

Here is some of what I know about this family:

Jacob and Catherine Diebolt Binder came to the US from Dettwiller, Bas-Rhin, Alsace, France in 1832. By 1836 they had settled their family: Catherine, Simon, John, and Madeline in Delhi Township, Hamilton County, Ohio; an area in the hills surrounding Cincinnati, Ohio. They one more child, a son in 1838. He was baptised with the St Stephan Society , a group of Catholic families that held services in each others homes when ever a priest could come out from Cincinnati. The family had joined when they moved to Delhi in 1836. Eventually this group built a church and another when the old one was damaged. Eventually they renamed their church Our Lady of Victory. Amazingly some descendants of this family are still members of that parish.

I have been able to find a few generations of each of the sons families; Simon, John and Henry but what I'd really like to know is what ever happened to the daughters? They are both represented in the 1840 census, but only one is on the 1850 census. One Catherine was born in about 1826. The other was born in 1830. They could have gotten married but I can't find anything.
