tracing back William Riley Crow(b December 25, 1893 d August 1987)- son of John Wesley Crow and Amanda Jane Lamm. John Wesley Crow was born to Olivia Chiles Meason-Crow (later married Charles McKinney)and Napoleon (Poll) B. Crow. Napoleon's father was William Crow. Napoleon was born in Kentucky-location unknown. Olivia was born in Monroe County Missouri Napoleon and Olivia were married on Christmas Day 1863; they married in Monroe County Missouri. Twenty years later Olivia married Charles McKinney(Charles was married to Napoleon's sister Martha Ann Crow) on Christmas eve. "Poll" and Olivia had the following children Ada, William, James, John, Ella, and Emma. Ada and William appear to have died at young ages. James seems to have grown to adulthood but there aren't any traces of him that I have located. Ella Mae Crow-Littrell married George Washington Littrell, Jr. They raised a large family in the hills of Washington County Missouri (Richwoods). Emma married Frank Hultz. Rumor has it that after Charles McKinney and Olivia Meason-Crow married they moved to the Franklin County/Washington County Missouri area where they ran a grocery store. Charles is rumored to have left Olivia for another woman. Olivia died in 1922.

John Wesley Crow married Amanda Jane Lamm (daughter of Mary and John Lamm, granddaughter of Alexander Washington Lamm and Amanda Hope Pulley) in Camden County Missouri. Their children were William Riley Crow (he was born William Oscar Crow-he changed his middle name), Elmer, Herman John, Joe and Mary Olivia (called Livy). Sometime after the turn of the century they moved the family to the Franklin county/Washington county missouri area. John Wesley died in 1916 from cancer. Amanda Jane married Henry Johnson.

William Riley Crow met and married Mary Daisy Littrell-1/2 sister to George Washington Littrell, Jr. Mary Daisy was the youngest daughter to George Washington Littrell, Sr and Martha Ann Thornton. Bill Crow and Daisy had ten children, Paul David, George Wesley, Opal Pearl Crow-Fritz, Walter Edward, Ella Maxine Crow-Williams, Dorothy Alene Crow-Asplin, twins Leona Louise and Naomi Lucille Crow-Ryerson, William Daniel, and Maggie Ann Jane Crow-Allen-Richards. Paul David and Leona Louise both died as infants. William Daniel died from cancer in the late 60's.

William Riley Crow was a tie hacker and a farmer his entire life. He spent a period of time preaching.

William Riley Crow's great grandfather- Alexander Washington Lamm was born in Tennessee in 1810. He followed his much older brothers James and William Lamm from Tennessee to Missouri. Their father John Lamm and mother Nancy Jane Moore were born in Rowan County North Carolina.

William Riley Crow's great grandmother Amanda Hope Pulley was born in Kentucky to Devereau Pulley and Mary Wiliams. Some of Amanda's siblings were Lorenzo and Carlos. The family lived in Cooper County, Missouri.
