Margareta Bulerin Bayonet (b. abt 1820) was my paternal grandfather's maternal grandmother: she was one of my great-great-grandmothers: she gave birth to Amalia Encarnacion Diaz Bulerin, who gave birth to Nicolas Perez Diaz, who fathered Ignacio Perez Quiles, who was my father. Margareta Bulerin Bayonet died in 1921 in Comerio, PR (Barrio Dona Elena). Her father was born in French Canada and her mother in Spain. My tree is in ancestry.com.

My name is Madeline. My great grandmother was Eulalia Diaz Bulerin, born in Comerio. Her mother was Bulerin from France. So, your great great grandmother (Margarita) could have been either sister or cousin of my great great grandmother. Amalia and Eulalia were probably sisters, meaning that Amalia could have been my grandmother's aunt. So Nicolas and my grandmother are probably first cousins (Perez Diaz). My grandmother was Ygnacia Perez Diaz, born in Comerio, 1897, and her father was Tomas Perez Hernandez from Comerio. Thomas Perez Hernandez probably had a brother who married Amalia. That is why my grandmother and Nicholas had the same last names. The only thing I know about my grandmother's immediate family is that she had a brother that they called Lalo. Do you have anymore information? You can contact me at maleman@languageline.com. I still have family in Comerio an will start asking around.

Madeline: Hello! Actually, I have an Euladia Diaz Bulerin in my ancestry tree, and she?s Great Grandmother Amalia Encarnacion Diaz Bulerin?s SISTER and so she?s my Great Grand Aunt. As with your Great Grandmother Eulalia, my Great Grand Aunt Euladia?s husband was named Tomas Perez Hernandez ? like you, I have a suspicion that Tomas P. H. had a brother named Pudencio P. H., who married my Great Grandmother Amalia. The Diaz Bulerin sisters also had another sister named Juana Diaz Bulerin who married Higinio Perez Hernandez, who I also suspect was a brother of both Prudencio and Tomas ? I don?t have proof, though. Furthermore, another sister of the Diaz Bulerin?s, Mercedes D. B. married another Perez: I don?t have his first name nor his second last name, so I don?t know if he was a Perez Hernandez. The only reason I know he was Perez is because Mercedes?s children were Perez Diaz. Getting back to your Great Grandmother Eulalia, in my family tree I have the following as her children (all Perez Diaz): Mateo, EULALIO (Lalo?), Mercedes, Felicita, Filomena, Adelina, IGNACIA, Gracia, and Habraham. Bottom line: we may very well be related.

Hello ladies, it looks like we are all related. My name is Areli. My paternal great grandmother was Filomena Perez Diaz from Comerio, PR. Her mother was Eulalia Diaz Bulerin. Eulalia’s parents were Margarita Bulerin Bayonet and Pedro Jose Diaz y Diaz from the Canary Islands Spain. Margarita’s father was Francisco Bulerin from French Canada and Margarita’s mother was Victoriana Bayonet. Please contact me if either one of you have more information/photos you would like to share. I can be reached at mexariquena@yahoo.com.
