.. My mum is Kathleen Dixon, youngest daughter of Elizabeth Helen Kitchen and Robert Henry Dixon. I have some more information for you regarding an eldest son of George Kitchen and Dorothy Amelia Hargreaves Thompson. His name was Douglas. He died on 25/11/1967. He put his age up to go in the Boer War and then put it down to go in WW1. He married Isabella who died 15/8/1965. They had 2 children: Rosalind Elizabeth (10/12/1904-24/10/2000, Walter Douglas (Joey) (4/7/1906-22/4/1975), and Phyllis. I have additional death dates for some of the Kicthan offspring and their spouses: Annie May (d.7/5/1922 aged 59), Jabez Foster (d.13/1/1942 aged 78), Dora Edith had a son out of wedlock called E.O.K. Kitchen (Ozzie) d.9/6/1976 and was a Sgt in the NZ Armoured Corps, 2nd NZEF; Violet Christina d.1/3/1930 aged 36 and George Henry Gibson d.28/5/1963 aged 71; Olive Louisa Panther d.6/10/1945; Gilbert (Bert) Henry Alexander Kicthen d.6/6/1962.
