Hi glen2, What's your connection to the BYRON surname? My grandfather was James William BYRON who married in Wellington in 1923 but I have very little info about him. Cheers, indapat.

hi there not sure if i replied to you .my g/g/grandad George Gordon Byron born London married london came to n.z .he died 1919 at Kaiapoi.I have a big tree by gordon byron in auckland i have been looking up it and can see a James byron but he might be to old as his dates are 1865 to 1943 .but if you are interested in contacting gordon let me known ,i will give you his e/m cheers

Hi Glen2 - I have come across the GEorge Gordon Byron you are researching - he was married to my ggggg grandmother Cecilia - (was her second marriage) and her former name was Hyland, and maiden name was Parkinson. - Did George and Cecilia have any children together?
