i'm looking for james logan and abigail phillips. james was born about 1800 maybe in north carolina, not really sure where. abigail was born 1808 in wilkes co north carolina. her parents were stephen phillips and sibby unknown, from north carolina. james and abigail were married 31 may 1821 wilkes north carolina.they lived in wilkes had (3) three children until about 1829. james and abigail then moved to russell co va with abigail's parents and family. lost james in 1830 russell co va. no mention of him after 1830, but abigail went on to have at least (4) four more children as james logan the father. abigail was a pauper in the 1850 census living with a family called ramsey in russell co va. i don't know when abigail died or re-married. she has at least (3) children that i have never found any information on. Mary E b: 1829 wilkes co north carolina, Lilbourn M. and Benjamin F Logan both born in russell co va 1843 and 1848.
