I am looking for information on the parents of Gordon Smith born in Connecticut about 1777. He married Sibby Parshall. I have information after this but want to trace his lineage.I know from my grandmother that his ancestors came from England.Any and all help will be appreciated. Thank you

The picture is of John Parshall Smith and his wife Lucy Rachel Cline.John is the 3rd child of Gordon Smith and Sibby Parshall.
