Hi,

Just found your message. I am a niece of Nathaniel McIntyre and have exactly the same query. Nat and Catherine had a daughter of their own who didn't survive and I believe Dolly was one of twin girls who were born near Nuhaka. We had thought her name may have been Dorothy!! I was told by a cousin that they thought Dolly had married to the name of Monteith, but was not sure about that, and had gone to live in Central Hawkes Bay.
Don't know it that is of any use to you. Please let me know if it leads you to anything as I have been trying to find more information for ages.
Diana (nee McIntyre)

Hello,
The Catherine McNutt you want to know about was my great-grandfather's sister and was born in Co Donegal, Ireland, in 1860. The family in Ireland is aware of adopted daughter Dolly.
