So far the family seems to be from around the Norwich area in Norfolk. Trying to find out what the E stood for and what Hilda's middle name was. Found three possible Jack's and now looking for Peggy. If i have any luck i will let you know!

Thank you for sending me the reply to my query. However, the answer is not what I was asking. It refers to the Filby family history and not the Thorpe Hamlet address that I was chasing for 1935 residents. Perhaps I was not clear enough in my question, sorry.

The Filbys from South Africa, Edward, Hilda, Jack and Peggy who I know about, stayed at 16 Ella Road in 1935 and I need to know who they stayed with.
I now suspect it was Alice (nee Filby) and Arthur Johnson but I need confirmation of this if anyone who has memories of 1935 Ella Road in Thorpe Hamlet. Did the Johnson family live there and if not who did?
If this question could go out again perhaps it is more explicit.
