She died on 08 Dec 1931 in Markinch, Fife, Scotland.

It's very hard from Canada to look for scottish ancestors...

No I do not know his wife's maiden name but if you look on the following site and look at marriages for Male surname Archibald, male Forename Alexander and female forename Isabella in Fife there is only 1. You will have to pay for credits to view, but it should give you both fathers names and mothers with maiden names
