janilye on 2012-12-26 17:58:11Luke Langdon b:1817, Somerset, England the son of Edward LANGDON and Rhoda GARD, married Mary GREENHAM 1822-1878 in Chiselborough in 1845. they arrived in New South Wales with one infant (Mark who died a few weeks later) and one Rebecca Langdon 1823-1861 (she married TRENERY) on the 'Petrel' on the 19 November 1849 and first settled south of Sydney, in 1851 they were living in Gerringong Luke Langdon died in the Parramatta district in 1883 his wife Mary pre-deceased him in 1878.
judelang on 2012-12-26 20:47:29Thank you for your reply.Are you connected to the Langdons in any way?I am related to Luke Langdon as my GGG Grandfather Peter Langdon was his brother and my brother and I are the only Langdons left in South Astralia. Our cousin Elizabeth Langdon is now a Mead.

janilye on 2012-12-27 00:01:37No Judy I'm not connected. I was just showing which Langdon family decendants you were lookinhg for by giving a few dates. Unfortunately I don't know a lot about Peter Langdon. I read a bit about the other brother, Roger and the sister who was in Melbourne, Grace, who also married a Greenham died in Prahran but the dates escape me at the moment.
