Do you know who Sarah Ann's parents are?
Maybe she inherited the properties mentioned in her Will. I think that she was born in Portland in 1883. Parents name would help a great deal

One of the problems with Sarah Ann Muller Atkinson is her lineage, she was not born an Atkinson and there is absolutely no record of her birth as such. We believe she was adopted by the Atkinson family and she was not mentioned in their Wills.
The Atkinson children all bore their mothers maiden name of Turner as a given name, Sarah Ann carried the name MULLER which we are inclined to believe is her birth mothers name and we now believe her birth was not officially registered as there is no traceable record.
The above may not be entirely accurate but is as close as we can come after extensive research into her background
If you ever find anything to the contrary I would be delighted to know.

It may be worth while looking at the land titles for Sarah. She died (without a written will) and seems to hold the title to these properties. She was young when died and may have inherited these properties

I found this article interesting. JAPANESE FAIR AT HAMILTON 1909 with both the MULLER's and ATKINSON's. Just shows that they did know each other socially.
