Mary was born 1895 in Wellington NZ - info required on childhood, was possibly sent to Wanganui River area as a child. Father is unknown and not recorded on birth certificate. Mary's mother Emily married Charles Kreig/Krieg in 1899 and they had a number of children together.

macca73 on 2018-04-17 03:23:41I think Emily did adopt Mary out. I have been told that Mary may have spent some time up the Whanganui River possibly with a Maori group/family in a place called Jerusalem or nearby? I have sent a couple of emails out to organisations but have had no response so far.
