My great great Grandfather was "John Alexander Bedel" and from what I know he was from the Vernon, Jackson County, IN area or Union, IN area. All I know is he had a son named "James Luther Beedle" who was my great grandfather. I'm told he left home at an early age and headed west and he got as far as Furnas County, Nebraska where he lived the rest of his life. I'm guessing he changed the spelling of his name. I would love to find out more info. on my "Beedle/Bedel" family line. If anyone has any information I'd greatly appreciate it. I'm at a road block.
