Southern Tier NY Looking for Information Reguarding Charles Jackson Sweeney

My name is Lisa Hall Sweeney, daughter to Roy E. Hall Sr. and Alice May Hall Sweeney. My grandfather was Charles J. Sweeney and grandmother Ruth Gertrude Sweeney Peterson. I am looking for the Native American aspect of my heritaige. I know that my grandfathers mothers maiden name was Smith and his fathers name was also Charles Sweeney but with an different middle name.
