Looking for my great grandmother - Elizabeth Cunigunda Schrage who was born 09 October 1854 in St. Louis, Mo. Her parents were (Hermann) Henry Schrage & Margareth Elysabeth Lobeck (Subeck). She had a brother (Henry) Walter Schrage who was priest. She may also have had a brother, Joseph & several sisters. Some of her sisters may have been Clara (married name Gorman), possibly Ann(a) (married name Wimmer), another sister who married a Schoen & one who married a Stallings.

The father probably had a business near 8th & Biddle Streets in St. Louis - possibly a clothing or dry goods store- & the family lived near by.

Her parents were married in St. Louis, Mo. on 02 January 1851 probably at St. Joseph's Catholic Church (now St. Joseph's Shrine).

She married (Dr.) Heinrich Amandus Dinges (of Waterloo, Illinois) on 15 May 1879 in St. Louis, Mo. (probably also at St. Joseph's Catholic Church).I believe that her brother, Father (Henry) Walter Schrage performed the ceremony. They moved to Red Bud, Illinois shortly after the marriage. They had 5 children, Eugene George, Ellanora Margaretha, Heinrich Alphons, Leocadia Anna, & Amandus Joseph.

She died on 19 April 1927 in Red Bud, Illinois.
