How do you find information on a person with very limited information. Peter Conrad came to Northumberland county Pennsylvania in 17?? from Germany. He is buried there. This all the information I have. Except the family moved to northern Indiana in 1837 o

1838 after Peter died. Peter had four sons: Henry, Peter, Daniel, and Jacob. I do not have the name of his wife. This information is from a hand written family tree by Ralph L. Conrad --1928-1929.

Any information or tips on where to look would be helpful. Thank you.

"Looking for CONRAD from Northumberland county Pennsylvania"

My mother's maternal side of the family was CONRAD and they settled in Northumberland county Pennsylvania sometime during the 1700s. Peter Conrad came from Germany in 17?? to Northumberland county Pennsylvania and is buried there. The rest of the family moved to northern Indiana in 1837 or 1838 near Elkhart Indiana at Millersburg.
In 1877 te family moved from Elkhart county Indiana to Billings, Missouri and bought a farm north of Billings one mile north.

I am having trouble finding the year that Peter Conrad came from Germany and if anyone came with him. I do not have a name for the wife of Peter CONRAD or how many cildren he had but I think there were four sons and one was Jacob CONRAD.

I am also trying to locate the Solomons Creek graveyard near Benton, Elkhart co. Indiana, Jacob CONRAD was buried there -- year of death unkown.

These are the brick walls that I have come up against in my search.

"Looking for CONRAD from Northumberland county Pennsylvania"

The Conrad Family Tree written by Ralph H. Conrad - 1928-29 stated Peter Conrad came from Germany and settled in Northumberland county Pennsylvanis in 17??
He died and is buried there. The rest of the family moved in the summer of 1837-38 to northern Indiania near where Millersburg now stands 20 miles east of Elkhart. Some people by the name of Long came with them.

From Indiana the family moved to Billings, Christian county Missouri.
They came in April, 1877.

I am trying to find where in Northumberland county the family lived and when Peter CONRAD came from Germany and if anyone came from Germany with Peter.

Any information would be helpful.
