Hi ivison is one of the names in my family that intriuges me. They come from Great Crosby Liverpool England. I visited there round about the end of the 2nd WW Stayed with an Aunt for a month I would love to meet anyone of that name also from G Crosby. I have met one Ivison cousin of my mother's recently. My grandmother Emily Patrick being one of his daughters. She had several other siblings. I was asked the birth dates of my grandfather Thomas Tennant and hi wife Ann Hannam of Yorkshire. My Gaga was 24/August/1879. His mother was born in 1849. Gaga's father was George Tennant 07/03/1849. I do hope that helps Eleanor

Later marrying and moving to New Zealand; pressure from my son caused me to turn to genealogy I only had two bits of info My grandad was Thomas Tennant living in Liverpool Lancashire. I sent for his birth certificate and discovered his mother was Ann Hannam. The 1881 British Census says she was born in Middlesmore,Yorkshire England. Here I'm stuck. I don't know who her parents are. Was my granddad born in PAteley Bridge or Liverpool. Did Ann come home to have Child.
