Bridget GILROY b abt. 1854 immigrated to New Zealand with 3 sisters Annie, Mary Anne, as yet unsure of other sister may be Ellen.
There parents names were Matthew GILROY & Elizabeth(nee Smyth). Matthew was originally from Scotland & married Elizabeth in Fermangh Ireland probably abt 1840's.
Unsure if there were any male siblings.

Bridget Gilroy married John O'Donnell b.abt 1854, the Catholic Basilica Barbados Street Christchurch NZ 19 Aug 1876.
There are no shipping records of Bridget or her sisters arriving in NZ as the New Zealand govt only kept list of assisted passengers. My mother says Bridget worked as a secretary for a Dr in Fitzgerald Ave Christchurch until she married.
