Agnes Crosbie née Lynch (1877-19??) of Dumfries, Scotland.

My great great grandmother Isabella "Maw"* Dickson (born Isabella Murray Lynch in 1877 in Dumfries) was raised by a mother called Marion Dickson living across the road from her mother.

Our Maw was born to a single mother Agnes Lynch; she was the daughter of Irish Catholic immigrants. Our Maw's mother baptised Maw when she was 7 at St. Andrew's RC Church while she was living with Marion. Agnes married a man called John Crosbie whom she remain married until his death in 1915.

Years later maw received a knock from a woman claiming to be her sister but she didn't know she had a sister; her sister told her her mum had just died. Maw's daughter (born 1926) was roughly 4 or 5 at the time making it the late 20s or early 30s.

My cousin and I haven't been able to locate a death record for Agnes Crosbie but we know she had passed before 1931 as her legitimate daughter with John listed her as deceased when she married in 1931.

*Maw is Scots for mum/mom.

Looking for living descendants of Thomas Colquhoun Kerr and Annie Hynds of Hamilton, Canada.

I am a grandchild of John Hynd (born Hynds), and I am looking for the family of his sister, Annie, who was born in Binniehill, Stirlingshire, Scotland in 1902, but later immigrated to Hamilton, Canada in the 1920s; she married Thomas Colquhoun Kerr a fellow Scots immigrant of Ayr in 1928.

Annie and Thomas had appears to have only had one son to live to adulthood called David (named after Thomas' father) who was born in 1929 and passed away in 1979 three years before Thomas; both passed away in Hamilton.

Annie was the daughter of John Hynds and Agnes Stevenson. She had nine siblings; John, James, Helen, Jessie, Margaret Stevenson, Peter, Andrew, Agnes and William (passed away in infancy).

I have so far found five children; Donald, Agnes, John, Nancy and David.

I've sadly been unable to locate a date of death for Annie and therefore unable to order a death certifcate which could be helpful in find out more about her.

Hope somebody could help or better a Canadian cousin.

I found the marriage record for Thomas and Annie and the death records for Donald, Agnes, John and Nancy on Ancestry.

I found this: http://www.ancestry.com/genealogy/records/annie-hynds_168686531 where I found Thomas' death date and David.

Looking for Grizel Barrowman/Borrowman of Carriden, West Lothian.

Grizel Barrowman was born 1762 in Fife to Alexander Barrowman and Janet Pep. She later married a John Hynd/Hind who she had several children with in Carriden, in West Lothian but disappears from record after her (presumedly) last child was born in 1800.

Thank you in advance
