Vprysock on Family Tree Circles

I have been doing research on my family for over 9 years. I started off doing research on the Shorter's. My g-g-g-grandparents were Richard & Laura Ellen Shorter. They were from Prince George's County, Maryland. Richard & Laura were married on Dec, 24, 1872. They had 12 children, but I was only able to find 9 doing my research. Their children were: Kitty Ann, Bertha, Fannie, Richard, Mary, Grace (my g-g-grandmother),William, Percy and Lawrence. They resided in the NW area of Washington DC. Richard worked as a day laborer, while Laura worked as a washwoman. Grace married Cornelius Cook; Bertha married George H. Oliver. Mary married but no husband was named. Percy & Richard married women named Rosa.

Also from the research, I found Richard had 4 siblings. There names were: Charles, George, William and Maria. They resided with him according to the 1880's census. George was married but no wife was listed for him. There is nothing on them after 1880. I am still doing research on them.
