Who Am I

I was born in the late 40's after the war. I grew up in Richland County, Ohio. I left there in the mid 70's and moved to California. I met a beautiful Japanese Student and we married a couple of years later. We have one daughter and a grandson. I was born with a birth defect and have spent time in Cleveland, Ohio in the hospital there.

I have connected with distant relatives in Florida who are my mother's mother's brother's descendants, I did this by pasting a request on a local bulletin board in the early 90's and we have become good friends.

I am stymied in my research of looking or information on my Great-Great Grandfather whose name is Michael Madden who was married to Honora Welsh they were probably married in Ireland and migrated to the USA in about 1850, where I can find them in the census records of 1860 with there first child born in Richland County, Ohio in 1856.

What I do not know of them is exactly where they came from in Ireland or when they married. Also I do not know if he was married previously and lost family during the potato famine in 1845.

So this is me and what I am about.
