Dear Readers, since my last posting of this journal, I have found the parents of Peter CULLETON* and his wife Annie Elizabeth MARRIOTT*.

Luke CULLETON (aka CULLITON) was born 1827 County Wexford, Ireland. His wife's name was Mary (maiden name unknown at present). I think I've found Mary's death details from a probate record though - died 16 Jun 1917 Kawakawa, Auckland, New Zealand, occupation Dressmaker, and there's a record of her appearing on the 1893 Electoral Roll for Women (1893). The couple had 7 children that I can find:-

1. Catharine CULLETON born 1851 Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England probably died England (may have been a twin with Simon).
2. Simon CULLETON born 1851 Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England. He doesn't appear with the family on the 1861 or 1871 census so he may have either died, or moved to another household.
3. Mary CULLETON born 1854 Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England probably died NZ
4. Ellen CULLETON born 1860 Louth, Lincolnshire, England married 1878 New Zealand Folio# 1591 groom Charles SMITH.
5. David CULLETON born 1862 Sutton Coldfield, Warwickshire, England probably died NZ
6. Peter CULLETON* born Sep 1864 Caistor, Lincolnshire, England died before 1904 NZ. Note census records say he was born Grimsby.

All the details my own late mother-in-law could tell me about her mother-in-law Florrie (Florence CULLETON), daughter of Peter & Annie was that she loved playing bingo and that she had English ancestry.
