Her parents James NELSON and Elizabeth KIRK married in 1884 at Leichhardt NSW so it is likely she was the firstborn child.
Possible siblings may have been:-
Oswald NELSON born 1884 Moruya NSW *
John P. NELSON born 1884 Wallsend NSW *
Amy NELSON born 1887 Sydney NSW
Hugh NELSON born 1890 Sydney NSW
*One of these doesn't seem to fit in just going by the year, but it is still possible to have one child say born January and the other born at the end of the same year.
