Tangled Weavers Webs
I started family research seriously a few months ago, firstly big thanks to those who have contributed to posts. My journey started with the Owen/Barnes/Dillon/Rich and Hickman(UK,Tasmania/Victoria) lines of my grandparents, I am now in contact with cousins I never knew I had (tasmania, victoria) and started my father's family Lannan/Farrell/Cand(t)well(Ireland/Victoria). I started with only a handfull of names.
I am now starting on my husband's lines Clark/Walker/Logier(NZ,Ireland/Europe) and am now up to 600 people and that's without too many children added as on both lines(Irish) there are some with 10+ children and even one with 19 children. My main message in this blog is NEVER GIVE UP! just plod along through the dry periods and wait for the floods.
UPDATE: Well, much success on my husband's line and am back to Rollo the Dane c838 and his father Rognvald. I have had many tips on my Irish Lannan's and Farrells and have managed to find and establish a link for them both in USA, much to the delight of the USA mob! They had many details of their part of the family, but nothing of family in Ireland.
I have also met up with a new cousin (mother's side) and gained info from her.And so the tree and info grow, even if ever so slowly! You just gotta keep looking!
