I love history. I am a reenactor, performing songs from Civil war era to the 1930's with my partner (see web site). I collect antique photos--from my family and anybody else's. It's great to see family resemblance and to know the stories. It's even better when you know/have known the people in the pictures. When I can, I want to help others to SEE the people they are descended from. The more we know about the past, the more sense we can make of the present. When possible, I will post some of the old photos along with my journals so that family members can see them. Check the names that I'm researching to see what I've got. If you've got some, let me know. Here are just a few of the family names: Opitz, Golloway, Corey, Walbrecht, Bloeser. I get new people ever so often.
