DW1925 on Family Tree Circles

I have researched the surname Gee in Smith County Texas. The first of my Gees to enter Texas was Eason Gee with his wife Jane Byars and their sons Andrew, Joseph and William. They married in Jefferson County Alabama in 1830. Eason fought and died (1836) in the Texas War for Independence and was granted land in Smith County Texas where his children lived for several generations. That land is still referred to as the Eason Gee League. I have information from the census on the descendents of each of Eason's children and have attempted to track his grandchildren as well. I am descended from his son William through his son George Washington Gee (born 1857) who married Florence Nunn in Smith County (1887) and had 15 children with her. If anyone needs information on this family,I would be more than happy to share what I have. If anyone knows more about the origins of Eason, I would love to hear your information.
