Any info on George W. Williams of Gordon Co. Ga. would be appreciated.

I am looking for information on my g-grandparents George W. Williams and Francis Tudor Williams.

He was born in 1840 and died in 1903. His wife, Francis Tudor, was born in 1841 and died in 1924.

They had a farm in Gordon Co. Ga. and on this farm they reared 4 children 3 sons John Henry Williams, Warren Thomas Williams and Oscar Lee Williams, and one daughter Johnnie Williams Clark.

I'm not sure where they lived before Gordon Co., but I suspect it was Walker Co. Ga.

Any information to the identity of George W. Williams and Francis Tudor parents would be greatly appreciated.

Bradley Co. Tenn. Parkers

My Grand father was Evan Parker 1859-1954. Evan was married 1st to Alice Star and 2nd to Mollie Ogle Smith (my grand mother) The children of Evan Parker were all born in McDonald, Bradley Co. Tenn. They were Earl, Virgil, Edna, Rosco, Cyola (my mother), Homer and Marvin. All of my grand fathers records were lost in a house fire shortly after his death. I am now in the process of trying to put together a family tree.

In the process of trying to locate my gggrandfather. I found that there was an Evan Parker (1817-1846) who was the Post Master of Dogwood Ga. (which became Ringgold Ga.) 1837-1840. This Evan had a son, Anderson H. Parker (abt. 1820-abt.1868, that I think is my gg grandfather.

McDonald Tenn. and Ringgold Ga. are in Ga./Tenn. Gordon and Bradley are border counties of Ga. and Tenn. with much movement in between the two counties.

Thanks in advance for any information That you might provide on Evan or Anderson H. Parker.
