I am researching the Permenter Family who start in France in 1590. There is a 100-year gap between Jean Parmentier who came to America and the line who went to England before America was discovered then to Canada. I am trying to prove a connection between the two lines.

I am seeking the lineage of Eufamey Stokes, my many times great-grandmother, who married John Permenter.

Jason W. WHITNEY was born 1829 in Alabama. He married Sarah Frances MORTON (her first of two husbands) in Red River Co., TX, on 19 Apr 1853. He died during a business trip and was buried in McCrury Cem., Lamar Co., TX.. His father's name is a big question. It might have been Hobson WHITLEY in some records or Hobson might be somebody else's ancestor. We don't know. Do you?

Elizabeth FINCH was born circa 1829 in Perry Co., Tenn.. She died 3 Nov 1898 in Lamar Co., TX.. She married first Samuel Jacob CONDOR then married secondly to John TUDOR who was from NC. She had three children by both of them. Interested in John TUDOR too.

I need any info on the descendants of Sterling I. CATO, his wife, and his parents and fellow siblings. It's thought that his father's name might be Henry CATO, but I can't find any proof of it anywhere. Help me, please?

Mary or Miriam NEWSOM(E) died before 1945 in Vernon, Wilbarger Co., Texas. She was married to Robert Coke PERMENTER who moved to Oklahoma with their many children after her death. Two of the children's names are Otis Vernon PERMENTER, my grandfather, and his youngest sibling, Admiral Dewey PERMENTER.
