I am Deacon Samuel Giles' gg-grandson from Aurora, ME 1811-1910. I'm trying to find the real story of how my Giles branch got to British America in the 1600's I'm strongly assuming from somewhere in England and whether my branch is indeed mentioned in Vinton's book of 1864 (it seems to me they have to be).
