LORRAINEWILLIAMS on Family Tree Circles

I want to find out who my grandparents were in Scotland.
The only information I have is my fathers name George Williams born in Glasgow around about 1909.

He left with a friend of the family when he was about 12 years old, and arrived somewhere in Australia.

My father was a pilot gunner in the war served in the Australian Army.

The only other thing I know about my father was that he was a mechanic working on the trains in Alice Springs.

I never learnt anything about my grandparents in Scotland or know anything about my roots there.

I am hoping to find out what my roots are in Scotland.
