FLYNN (FLINN). Thomas Flynn & Julia Walsh. both came our seperately from IRELAND! Thomas born WATERFORD.CO.CORK about 1813. He was sentenced for stealing money at Tipperary and given life! He sailed to Australia on the (PARMELIA) from CORK on the 29/10/1833 and arrived I think in SYDNEY on the 02/03/1834. Thomas received his pardon 48/199 on the 31/12/1847.
WALSH.Julia was born 1823 in CO.WICKLOW,IRELAND to RICHARD WALSH and MARY CANTWELL. Julia Walsh came out to Australia as a FREE passenger on the "MINERVA 2".Julia sailed from DUBLIN on the 18/08/1839 and arrived 26/12/1839.
Thomas and Julia were married in ST NICHOLAS CATH.at MULGO near PENRITH. NSW on the 28/11/1841. I think they lived in this area for some time and than moved to the BRAIDWOOD/BUNGENDORE/QUEANBEYAN AREAS of NSW.
THEIR children tht I know of are:JOHN (1842-1915), WILLIAM (1844-1863)THOMAS (1847-1928), "TWINS -RICHARD (1850-1918), MICHAEL (1850-1933)",MARGARET (unsure when born but I believe she died 1951?), "TWINS-CATHERINE (1852-1936),MARY (1852-1853)",WINNIFRED (1855-1934),MARY.A (1857-1936),LAWRENCE (1859- not sure of his death as he had moved to Western Australia), JAMES known as Barney (1861-1930),JULIA (1863-1904), WILLIAM named after his brother (1865-1936?), and PATRICK (1872-1945). I do think there was another baby called THOMAS born(1845-1846) prior to THOMAS born in 1847!This information is from a number of sources so if you find errors please advise me. I do have some names of their partners and their children but I will add these at another date.Hope it helps someone, myself included!

Benjamin Jermyn and his wife Mary Ann Cooper migrated to Australia in 1852. They came out as Assited Immigrants with some of their chilren on the Vessel "Kate".Sadly their young son Benjamin aged three died on the voyage.

Benjamin was born about 1821 at Limpenhoe, Norfolk, England to William Jermyn and Sussannah Reeve. Mary Ann Cooper was born about 1825, I think at Freethorpe, Norfolk, England and they married in 1846. Mary's parents were Robert Cooper and Elizabeth Thompson.

Well at last my Journey has commenced and I am starting with my maternal Grandmothers family Mary Ann Jermyn.

My name is Susan Gregory and I am married and have three children. I was born in Cobar NSW TO Una Joan Harrison (Flynn) and Thomas Hugh Harrison and I am the youngest child of eight in my Mums first marriage. My father seemed to disappear from our life when I was born and the only father I remember is my Step Father, Eric Albert Morgan from Orange in NSW. Dad (Eric) came into my life when I was about one and has been there ever since.

My mother Una Joan Flynn was born in Goulborn NSW to John Thomas Digger Flynn (Flinn) and Mary Ann Jermyn and so I guess this is where the story begins. So lets see how far we can travel back in history to find out roots in the Flynn, Harrison and Jermyn lines.Any imput would be greatful.Thankyou
