My great grandfather was joseph neal, born 1822 codnor Derbyshire, married Phoebe Wilson in 1846
Their first born child was Alfred Neal DOB 16-Jan-1848, the brother of Fred Neal Born 1872 Heanor.
Alfred Neal married Louisa Straw c1849 born Marlpool, Heanor, Derbyshire on 05-Oct-1868.
In 1881 they lived 24 Scargill Street, Eastwood Nottinghamshire, and Emigrated 1882/3.
In USA census 1900/1901 his job was a public school teacher, and in 1920 aged 72years, at Weber, Utah.
He died at Weber, Utah, on July 23-1923, but do not know wherabouts buried.
Louisa straw parents were Charles c1798, mum = Elizabeth Davies c1802 both born Shipley, near Heanor.
Their son John Carrington Neal c1869, died 28-May-1932 is buried at Allorest Memorial Park, Ogden, Weber
Samuel Neal c1873 died 31-march 1940 same time as wife Alice phoebe Manning, but how.
Samuel buried at MT Olivet cemetery Washington on 02-April 1940, nothing else known about them.
Phoebe Ann Neal DOB 24-july-1876 died 1957 June 07 at Tacoma Piece Washington no info from 1903.
Mary Jane Neal DOB 08-Sept-1877 Derbyshire, died 31-july 1961 married twice, nothing really known.
Mary's 2nd spouse =Charles McKay born 1870 Heanor, wed 01-mar-1901 at Kemmer Wyoming.
Betsy Neal born 1882 Eastwood Notts,Died 22-mar-1956 Salt lake city Utah, where buried?
Louisa Neal born Almy Uinta Wyoming died 21-Dec-1967 at Almy. Married 1 Don Hardy. 2 Edward Cronin.
Bertha Neal DOB 29-Sep-1890 Ogden Weber Utah buried there but location? Spouse Scott Hurd.

I've managed by sheer luck on contacting a 5th cousin removed doing same research to get down to year Wiliam Neal born Etwell Derbyshire. {Neals are scattered not only in UK , but USA {My branch here is my granddad's eldest brother Alfred born 1848} also found in Australia {These NEAL'S were not prisoners}.
Anyway When My cousin asked me "Did I know anything at all beyond grand father Neal"? Well. no I did not, but jotting down what I did know, I noticed the hardest thing is to find out when they died, which helps a lot, if ones trying to find them on census.
Another problem I came across causing problems, is same first name, same year, same area.
Now William's wife is Margary Skellet or Scelett born 1564 Etwell, Derbyshire, England, Probably when you get as far as this, our records are probably in Latin, or if written in Middle English, its difficult to find out exactly written, {but I've myself have not come across legal documents, except Birth and Marriage/death recent {i.e from 1837 onwards, in th UK.] Any enlightment on this far back, would be most welcomed Mr Barry Neal born 1939 Derbyshire, England.

Does anybody known John Parents? He was born Whatton in Nottinghamshire, England, and I believe married Elizabeth Calcroft on 29-Dec-1703 at Whatton. They had {I believe} John BERESFORD 20-August-1705. Elizabeth BERESFORD in 1706. Thomas Beresford May 1716. Ann Beresford April 1723. These children born Bottlesford Nottinghamshire, and William Beresford born Saint Mary's Nottingham England on 16-July-1727.
