i am working on my family tree. at this time i have a little bit information but now i am stuck unable to get any info due to the recent passing of my mom. this is what i have at this time. my dads name is george edward hammons his fathers name is sherman frankilin hammons and he was married to dora bailey but when my dad was about 7 she passed away then he married bonnie griffen. my grandfathers parents is george washingto hammons and he was married to sara kidder. i am trying to find more information on our family. i don't remember my dads sister but her name is mildred and she was married to a man (as i remember)being called "slim" ledbedder. as i remember being told she died due to an overdose of medication for an illness. there is a little bit more but if anybody has anything on our family fell free to email me at mymeha@yahoo.com or gggant65@hotmail.com or at tripleg65@aol.com. and if you have any questions that i might be able to help with fell free to ask i will try to give you an answer if i can. thank you bonnie
