Looking for family of William G. Liese
I'm looking for family of William G. Liese, born in 1879 and died in 1926 in Ponca City, OK. At the time of his death, he resided in Ponca City, Oklahoma with his wife, Coenia Kilbie Liese, a full blood Osage Indian. They had four children together: Frantz, Coenia, Elizabeth and Wilma Gean.
I have no information regarding the family of William Liese other than he was of German descent, and possibly a first generation or second generation in the US. I'm not sure how he ended up in Oklahoma. During his residence in OK, he operated a bus company. I'm looking for any information on his family-he was my maternal great-grandfather.
Leche Family in Louisiana
My grandfather, Melburn Leche, was born in Louisiana in 1913. His father was Daniel Leche, his grandfather Marcelus Leche. My grandfather had five siblings: Alice, Margaret, Clara, Daisy and Julius.
Daniel Leche died when my grandfather was young. My great-grandmother, Mae Pierce Leche, moved with her three younger children, Melburn, Daisy and Julius, to Oklahoma to live with her oldest daughter, Alice Leche.
I'm looking for more information about my Leche heritage. The family name was occasionally spelled incorrectly as Lesche.
