Peter Costello born Tuam, Galway, Ire 1839

I am the great grandaughter of Peter Costello and Mary Jane Mc Donald who immigrated from Eng. to N.Y. in 1870...upstate New York where they had 3-4 children. Then the family moved via the rivers to Texarkana, AR where they resided until their deaths circa 1910...1911. Peter and Mary Jane Mc Donald Costello had 14 children 12 of whom survived in the 1910 census of Texarkana, AR. Their first daughter named Ann was born early in 1870 and died after birth, at which time they immigrated to N.Y. Peter and Mary Jane Mc Donald Costello are buried at Sacred Heart Church in Texarkana, AR...one of their daughters was the first bride after the church was completed and then became the first funeral a year later after dying in childbirth. Mary Jane's father was George Mc Donald...and her brother, also George Mc Donald visited them during the timing of the census in both N.Y. and A.R. Mary Jane was born in Eng. of parents who were both born in Ire. Her father, George Mc Donald was in the Queens Guard according to family tradition. He was widowed 2x...first wife had issue George Mc Donald, second wife had Mary Jane and 3 brothers of which the younger two were twins.
