I’m a 50yr old female who has lived in New Zealand my whole life as have both sides of my family for several generations. My maiden name is Pethybridge & my great grandfather is Samuel Arthur Pethybridge b. 8.11.1876 at Parks Plains, Victoria, Australia. He married Eliza Lander (b. 29.10.1875 from Puckawidgee, NSW, Australia on 19.2.1902 at Ringwood, Darlington Point. They both emigrated here from Victoria, Australia to Hamilton, New Zealand around 1904-1905 & settled there on a 2 acre section (where the polytechnic now is) until 1920 when they moved to farmland in Tikitere, near Rotorua. They sold that farm & moved to Auckland, then moved back to Rotorua early 1939. Eliza died 25 December 1939. Sam continued to live in Rotorua until 1951 when he moved back to Pt Chevalier, Auckland & lived there until his death on 28 February 1958.

His son, my paternal grandfather, Leslie Arthur Pethybridge (who was one of 6 of their offspring ~ 4 daughters & 2 sons) married my grandmother Alice Maud Davies (born 2.2.1901 in Waiuku, NZ) in Auckland on 12.12.1928. They moved to Rotorua where they settled on land in Ngongotaha (up Dalbeth Road) & had 3 children ~ 2 daughters (Judith Alwyn b. 30.06.1938 & Lesley Alison b. 10.10.1943) & my father Arthur Lander (b. 21.8.1940). Dad married my mum Isabelle Jean Wilson Easter weekend 1963 in Wellsford. They settled in Owhata, Rotorua & had me on 21.12.1970 & my sister Vicky Marie on 11.05.1972. Mum & dad separated in September 1984 & later divorced in 1991. I married Wayne Stuart Bulcraig on 30.09.2000 & we have 2 children ~ Ryan Wayne b. 6.6.2004 & Ciara Jasmine b. 28.6.2007. We live in Rotorua, NZ.
