McDowell, Alexander and Fanny (nee Storey). Alexander was an assisted immigrant to Australian from Northern Ireland in 1885 and Fanny an assisted immigrant to Australia with her family in 1882. They married in 1887. Alexander was a Police Officer at Katoomba NSW who dies in 1907. There were three children, John Ambrose,b, 1888, Robert James (my grandfather) b.1890 and Edith Jane b. 1895. Edith married Alfred House in 1915. Seeking information or descendatns.
