My Name is Mary L. HOBSON, I was born Sept 1962 in the Charleston SC Naval hospital. My Father Charles Edward HOBSON was morn to Marion Edward HOBSON and Mary Jane PFEIFER, march 1941. My Grandparents were my world.

My grandmother used to tell me some amazing stories. One of those stories was she loved a man in uniform and when she saw my grandfather she said that is the man I will marry, and she did. She would say that is how you came to be, but there is so much more.

I have always loved to know where I came from and started writing down every thing my Grandmother told me when I was in my preteens. I still have those notes I wrote to this very day. The paper has yellowed but the pen still stays. My Grandmother was amazing when it came to names, dates, and relations. I have been searching on the computer for the past 17 years and have compiled proof of the dates she gave me.

I have found data streaming as far back as the 1700's. I am not searching 1 name but 7 at the moment. I have been trying to go back on all 4 grandparents. I have much to say about each, but not the time to type it all at this time. I will try to put in each name and all that I have found in a timely fashion.
