I forgot to add the name of Helen Josephine Burke who is my father's sister. I believe she may be still alive as she was born on Sept.5, 1926 in WV. I can't find if she married or not. My father Herschel E. Burke was born in 1925 and died in 1995. I have found aa half brother so far who lives in Oklahoma.

I have my father's name and his father and mother's names but I hit a brick wall with his father.
My father was Herschel Elbert Burke, born 1925 and his father's name was John Burke. This is as far as I can get on him. My father's mother was Sylvia Gladys Reckart and I have traced her side of the family back to the 1500's.
My father had a sister too, Helen Josephine Burke. I can find no information on her either. I believe she was born in 1928 or 1929.
