I have always reached a brick wall researching my father Norman George Noel. He was born in Ely,Cardiff, Wales in the sub district of Llandaff on June 03 1925. That bit is easy to find. His parents were Cyril Noel and Nellie Jackson.

He was adopted at the age of about 2 before the adoption laws came into place so there is no record of that.

His real parents seem to just vanish, I can find no marriage and no death certificates.

His father was listed as a film traveller whatever that may be!
