Name is Bill Bell, as much as i remember.. We both met in Ca. 1963 Lancaster, Ca.
I remember he was either 3 years older or younger than me (i think younger) I was born 1940..
Bill Bell was tall 6ft`-- '2"in, had brown eyes and dark brown hair not much hair on his body..
He was thin and ganglie, loved to dance and sing, smiled a lot, was always nice and loved my children..We met where my sis. and her husband played in a band and ran around in Lancaster and Palmdale Ca. Bill at this time worked with my brother in a elec. car wash... Then went to work each of them in a Tile Business Bill taught my brother a lot about Tile as he had layed it quite a while.. Bill was also a Mechanic and was always fixing broken things he was good with his hands, What he taught my brother in the Tile business set My brother up to end up buying his own business in Ca. and still has his own business there he is well loved a wonderful person, and very well known in Ca. for his good work to this day.. i got pregnant in 1964 and had my son on 09/12/1964,at the Antelope Vally Hospital and in the mean time my ex husband had come from Utah. where i had run from him to Ca. there he threatened me to get rid of the baby or else he would take away my other . children, as he was mean and spiteful i knew he would, so i did adopt. Tim out as soon as he was born and then i ran away to Texas as far as i could get.. My ex wasn't going to get my children he said he didn't want them but wanted to hurt me, i was terrified of him. I think to this day he thought i would sue him for Bills baby for Child Support not true i never asked him for a cent till my children were 14 - 16 yrs of age and then he only payed $40.00 a month for 6 months thats all. i raised my children myself.... I never told Bill Bell where i went, nor about adopting our son out, i was afraid some one would tell my ex I never told a soul, i just took what was on our backs and ran..We stayed in Texas for 4 years till my dad came and brought me to Fl. with him and we lived with him till i got a job and dad gave me a car, and we settled in our own home, years later my brother had lost contact with Bill Bell and heard he had been in a car wreck, don't believe he was driving but was in the back seat and was killed. So i am searching every where i can to find any fam. of Bills for our son which i found, again i knew i would and never gave up till i did and he is married now and has a 3 y/o beautiful baby girl..they moved to Fl. with me. All my bro. knew was Bill was killed in Missouri in a car wreck resulting in a death... No town, nor a date, nothing was known about Bills Fam. nor why he was in Missouri.I tried V.S. and they advised me it was impossible to find out any thing for me or my son as it was confidential. Which is a crock, they are keeping my son and grand daughter from Bills fam. and this is wrong .As far as the dates it was between 1965 to 1990 theres 25 years diff. that the fatal car wreck in Missouri, is the only way i can find him but thiers hundreds of Bill Bells that passed in car wrecks in Miss. with in those 25 years.. His info: name (Adopted): Kenyon Richard Bennett, was adopted by a strict German couple name and state unknown... He did receive his SS # in 1951 in Ill.
There was a sm. named movie star (I think) was his birth mom, names associated with her were June, Leotia... Beinke or Bienke were associated with him??? He was smart and secretive, why I don't know. Married 4 times, first wife's name unk, but she was an aerialist hung by her teeth in a circus, second wife my mom was Lillian Annette. Then he married a Pat last name unknown, then he married a Martha Webb who he was married to till he passed, his DOD was 01/12/1972 in Ormand Bch. FL. the funeral and cremation and obit all were from Woodward Funeral Home in Ormond Bch. FL. they now say they don't have any info. anymore on him I do have the Obit. death cert # and Vital Stat. says he wasn't born in FL.... I just can't find where he was born and adop. to or by, or states.....
Dad was the original Dr. I.Q. of early radio, a baseball announcer, had a station called (ready kill o watt) in Idaho, was a Moose Member, he also worked in radio broadcasts in St. Louis, in his last years he worked as a manufacturing Representative with Murray Sales of Atlanta, Georgia. His obit. says he came from Charlotte, North Carolina but he married my mom in Utah, Martha and Pat in FL.
Dad was well known for his intelligence he designed the paper hosp. and Dr. gowns they still use today, place mats and napkins in all airlines, restaurants, hospitals.... He was a trav. salesman and I do know he traveled every state, as he used to bring me a plate from every state he went to I am the eldest of 5 kids... none of us know much about him but I do remember him telling me he was adopted by a strick German couple... I did get his death cert. it said where he dies and he was from FL. I wrote to Vital Stat. They denied it, I have a picture that was in the paper his Obit., I tried numerous times calling them and they denied having any info. any more (back in 1972) I went to the funeral and my brother and I signed the cremation papers and my brother picked up the ashes a fewdays later, and still has him and our moms ashes, moms name was Lillian Annette Smith neither were Morman, Kenyon Richard Bennett were married in Ogden Utah, none on him is in the LDS records>>went to the SS office and they showed me there was not a thing on him... I sent for a numendent on him. Rec. it and it had all different dates on it not pertaining to dad and most of the info. was after he had passed??? So that was that??? I haven't thought of writing Volusia County, that is a GOOD idea, I will do it.
Dad was not in the military, and have run him for wants and warrents all through the states, but couldn't find a Dr. lic. on him either, so no licence but he has a clean record, another GOOD idea is to get the divorce records I will do this also... dad was a w/male... When he passed he was married to a Martha Webb Bennett she was from Popular Bluff Missouri has a son that was a Dr. there at the time... Dad usually went by Ken Bennett.

But they now have no record of it.. dad was adopted when I don't know at the age is a mystery, heard he was born in other states but they all say no also all I know is I remember him telling me he was adopted by a strick german couple, and dad named a younger sister Leotia he said it was for his mom it was her name I don't know if it was his birth or adopted name.. Vital stats says they have no record, can't find immig. records on him, SS sent me a numendent with dates (after) dad passed didn't make sense to me.. But now I don't know who to go to.. Great Grandfather Campbell ALEXANDER (Dads side) his parents, David and Sarah Alexander father and mother of Campbell ALEXANDER

David Hamilton ALEXANDER and Sarah Hamilton were married Janurary 25, 1856 at Parish Church of Muirkirk Scotland. They were both raised in an orphanage in Scotland and when they were old enough that they had to leave the orphanage, they were married in 1868 they came to America. They first settled in Frostburg, Maryland and from there to Harlan County, Nebraska and on to Hayes County, Nebraska in 1885. They had eleven children: David Hamilton, James Watson, Joseph Hamilton, Hugh Howard, Agnes Lemon, William McMilliam, ALEXANDER Black, Campbell, Robert, plus two that I do not have names for. The records show that David H. and his sons David H., James Watson, Campbell and ALEXANDER Black all took out 80 acres land grants each, homesteads and receiving patents from Grover Cleveland in 1891. James Watson eventually bought them all out. He worked the land until 1912 and was then elected to county clerk, three terms in Hayes County, Nebraska where he finished in expired term as a sheriff. James Watson went to Alabama and graduated from the Alabama School of Mines and for a few years was engaged in the mining business in an executive capacity. James Watson married Elizabeth Johnston Barclay on March 23, 1894 at Blossburg, Alabama. In searching for Campbell ALEXANDER, I have been told he was buried in Canada, or Washington, or else where, I have no idea. Campbell ALEXANDER was born on July 17, 1869-1870 depending on where its written up. He was born in Galston, Ayeshire Scotland. A scottish imigrant who came to the states by working his way through Nova Scovia.On the Ships. Heres where we lose sight of Campbell ALEXANDER after he sells out to James, app. April 1909 where most of the brothers moved to Alabama, Washington, and Cananda. My cousin Ray and myself are the ones doing the searching, we are two of the first three grandchildren of Campbells. We've come to the conclusion that maybe Campbell remarried, maybe this is why we can't find where he is buried. One is the census info. for 1930 in Missouri that shows a mother with two sons by the name of Erila ALEXANDER, she was in Boone, Missouri in 1930 census. The oldest son is also Campbell ALEXANDER and the other son is Tom ALEXANDER. The only other information is with the SSN death records showing a Campbell ALEXANDER who died in 1978 and is buried in St. Louis, Missouri. This is the only Campbell ALEXANDER we have found in the U.S. records. This just about has to be the son of Campbell ALEXANDER who passed in 1978. Whatever happened to Campbell ALEXANDER is still a mystery. Have recently found Erila is No relation to this fam.

To explain our situation as briefly as I can, my 15 year old great granddaughter, Lauren Cooper, just had emergency surgery due to leaking spinal fluid, and a tumor was removed from her spine which has now left her paralyzed and at this point we don't know the cause or what else to expect. She is in extreme pain. We are unable to provide (any) family medical history which may help the doctors as I will explain below, but we desperatley need your help in this matter.

The mother of my great granddaughter is an adoptee who has attempted to get family medical history from Catholic Charaties who was the angency who handled her adoption. We have been dealing with Catholic Charaties for several years and have basically gotten nowhere. Originally my granddaughter would have welcomes any contact with her birth mother at whatever level she wished. Catholic Charaties claim to have made contact with her birth mother and that she has (MS) and is in a wheel chair, so we take it that she may not contact because of her illness. We've asked Catholic Charaties on numerous occassions to please have the birth mother to at the very least provide family medical history. To my knowledge this has never been done. Phone calls are seldom returned. At this point, it is CRUCIAL that she, Lauren, recieve family medical information on both the birth mother and the birth father's siblings, aunts and uncles. I'm sure if this was your child you would not want to see your child suffer needlessly or have them die due to lack of family medical history. Had we been given this information a few years ago, this may have never happened, had we known what to watch for.

Most of this stems from MS. The first biopsy came back from pathology. It is not cancerous and not a tumor, but called it a blood clot mass also known as 'Cavernous Angiomas'. They sent it off to another pathologist Thursday evening, took out her stiches Friday moved her from all childrens hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida by ambulance to Tampa General in Tampa, Florida for 4-6 weeks of rehab. She is still paralyzed and can't control bodily function. Nor has any feeling any where. The 2nd biopsy came back as they were moving her from one hospital to another, with no results as the same. They were going to send it out again to a different lab. I haven't heard. Stacy (the mother) and her 3 girls, ages 17, 15 and 4 have no health insurance for all of this. We have no idea how all of this now and in the future how it will be paid for.

They have changed her hospital by ambulance from All Childresns in St. Pete Florida to Tampa General Hospital to Tampa Florida for rehab. She is also being schooled at the hospital. This is a medical emergency now. We need to get Stacy's (the mom of Lauren) adoption records open. For all the information concerning Stacy's mom dad siblings aunts and uncles. We don't know who will help now. As Gov. Crist hasn't answered the emails, and senetor Ginny Brown Waite has done all she can contacting catholic charaties.

Is it possible for you to contact Catholic Charaties to make a plea in our behalf to get the family medical history ASAP? We are desperate at this point. In order to help us, you may need to know that my grand daughter was given the name of Stacy Kay Brown after she was adopted by Roger and Betty Brown. She was born 02/07/1970 in St. Petersburg, Florida at Bayfront Medical Center. Her amended birth certificate number is 109-70-015986.
