Looking for information on Great Grandmother, believed to have been born about 1833 in St. John's Wood, Hampstead, Uk. Father Charles. Eliza had a number of children in Australia to Thomas Ellis. When Thomas was the informant of two childrens' births, the mother's surname was Plumridge. However, when Eliza was the informant her surname was not always the same but appeared to be the various spellings for Plummer. Eliza had a strong accent and was probably illiterate and hence possible surname variations. She died as Mrs Eliza Ellis at Hay, N.S.W. Australia in 1923.
