I heard my grandfather was a orphan in Texas. His last name was Barney Flowers. He was adopted by the Senn Family at a young age. What should i do to search to get information about my Grandfather and his roots in life.

I am doing a research about my family. My Father was Barney Senn Jr. from Ariton Al My Grandfathers name was Barney Senn My Grandmother was Falzie Senn. My Grandmother lived down below the school in Ariton Al. If anyone has any comments or help about my family i would greatly appreciate it.
