Dawson Family, Tucker County, WV

I am looking for information on a Hannah Jane (Helmick) Dawson. She was married to Abraham Dawson.
They had four children of their own - Robert, Charlotte, Lettie and May Florence. They adopted a young Indian girl - Minnie.

Apparently, the four children came down with Scarlet Fever, ran high fevers for an extended period of time and had hearing problems. Minnie was not affected. Hannah Jane died at a young age - from Scarlet Fever?? not sure. No records of her death- the assumption is she died somewhere between 1887(Minnie's birth date 1 May 1887) and before Abraham died in Jul 1895.

Abraham died from being struck by a tree. This left the five children to fend for themselves.

Nothing is known about Minnie's birth parents other than she is part Shawnee or Mound Indian. WV vitals show Hannah and Abraham as the birth parents but this is not correct.

Minnie had a daughter Emma Francis ("Fannie")- partner unknown. She then married Giovanni Pagliari(he later changed his name to John Pegley) and they had nine children - Tressa, Joe, Ray, Julia, Rosy, Louey, Della May, John Jr. and Richard. Little is known about Joe, Julia, Rosy, Della May and John Jr.
Tressa is my grandmother who married Guido....Soccorsi.

Ciampanella's from Arquata del Tronto, Ascioli Piceno, Marche, IT settling in WV

I currently have three trees of Ciampanella's. They all came from the same region of Italy - two lines settled in Preston County and the other line settled in McDowell County. I am pretty sure they are all related but lack several pieces of the puzzle.

Line one: Lucia, Domenico, Domenica, and Sante - parents were Carmine Ciampanella and Beatrice DeSantis.
Line two: Edoard(Edward), Annibale, Loreto(Sorento) and Antonio - parents were Ferdinand Ciampanella and Annie - maiden name not known.
Line three: Arturio/Agostino and Benadetto - parents were Massimino Ciampanella and Jiutita Santolini and Antonio - parents were Massimino Ciampanella and unknown mother.

It makes me wonder if Carmine, Ferdinand and Massimino weren't brothers????

What I find odd is that the same families have all inter-married - Soccorsi, Ciampanella, Santolini, Marella, Lalli, and Lauri's. Again all from the same region of Italy.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Looking for Soccorsi in WV

I am looking for family of David Soccorsi - he was born and died in Arquata del Tronto, Ascioli Piceno, Marche, Italy. He had two wives, the first one is unknown and they had at least one son - Sabatino. His second wife was Louise Santolini. They had at least four children - Ginesco, Luigi, Guido and Elena. David also had two other children - Maria Antoinette and Enrico. Their birth mother is unknown - could be either first or second wife.

David and his son Enrico were killed possibly at the same time over a land dispute.

Louise along with her children and step-son left Italy and settled in Masontown/Bretz, Preston County, WV. All died in WV and are buried in the Masontown Cemetery in Masontown, Preston, WV
